Biotinylated HER2 Aids in the Quantification of Antibodies in Serum
Two recent publications have highlighted the use of biotinylated HER2 protein in quantification of
In a newly published US patent titled "Antibody‐Drug Conjugate Having Improved Stability and Use thereof" (US patent 20160136300), Kim et al. used ACROBiosystems'biotinylated HER2 (HE2‐H822R) as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA to measure anti‐HER2 antobodies in the serum.
Meanwhile, Chen et al. from Agilent Technology Inc. used biotinylated HER2-ECD,Catalog #HE2‐H822R, (produced by in‐house biotinylation of ACROBiosystems' HER2‐ECD protein HE2‐H5225) for affinity purification of anti‐HER2 ADC from rat serum. The purified ADC is further analyzed by LC/MS.
This work is published on an Agilent application note titled "Determination of Drug‐to‐Antibody Ratio for Antibody‐Drug Conjugates Purified from Serum"
