    DEPOSITOR COMMENTS

pCLE includes a modified 5 LTR (CMV/MLV) to obtain higher titers, as well as the Xenopus EF1alpha enhancer/promoter to improve vector expression in the brain. In addition, the vector is dicistronic and utilizes an IRES to allow translation of the reporter gene, human placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP).
