保存条件Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

This gene encodes an epidermal growth factor-related protein that contains a cripto, FRL-1, and cryptic domain. The encoded protein is an extracellular, membrane-bound signaling protein that plays an essential role in embryonic development and tumor growth. Mutations in this gene are associated with forebrain defects. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 2, 3, 6, 8, 19 and X. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010].

Function:
Could play a role in the determination of the epiblastic cells that subsequently give rise to the mesoderm.

Subunit:
Interacts with the activin type-1 receptor ACVR1B.

Subcellular Location:
Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor, GPI-anchor.

Tissue Specificity:
Preferentially expressed in gastric and colorectal carcinomas than in their normal counterparts.

Similarity:
Contains 1 EGF-like domain.

Cripto-1(表皮生长因子相关肽)是Cripto-FRL-Criptic(EGF-CFC)家族成员之一, 属于转化生长细胞TGF-β蛋白家族及Nodal蛋白质的共同受体。Cripto蛋白对于胚胎的发育占有非常重要的地位。
Cripto-1在人类的多种肿瘤如结肠癌、乳腺癌、卵巢癌、胰腺癌等中高表达，可激活P13K/Akt/GSK-3βc-Src和ras/raf/MAPK信号通路,介导细胞增殖和抑制细胞凋亡，Cripto蛋白的单细胞繁殖抗体，可以有效抑制一些癌细胞的生长。

Tissue/cell: mouse stomach tissue; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded;  Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum,C-0005) at 37℃ for 20 min;  Incubation: Anti-CRIPTO Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(HZ-2141R) 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody(SP-0023) and DAB(C-0010) staining
