                                                Monoclonal Antibody to total Prostate Specific Antigen (tPSA)

Specificity:                 The total Prostatic Specific Antigen (tPSA) is a tumor associated antigen with a molecular weight of 34Kd.  This antigen is found in normal prostatic epithelial lining cells of the ducts and acini, as well as, in primary and metastatic prostate carcinoma cells.

Host Animal:              Mouse.  Hybridization of P3-X63-Ag8.653 .myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Applications:             Immunohistochemistry on frozen or paraffin sections.  Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.

Storage:                      Upon receipt, aliquot and store at <–40°C.  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.  If aliquoted for long term storage, fill volume should be equal to or greater than 50% of the nominal fill volume of the vial used.
