       ScienCells GeneQuery™ Human DNA Damage Sensing qPCR Array Kit (GQH-DDS) is designed to facilitate gene expression profiling of 40 key genes involved in DNA damage sensing. DNA damages, such as mutations, breaks, cross-links, deletions/insertions and translocations, are constantly generated due to internal and external stresses. Appropriate DNA damage responses must be implemented to maintain genome stability. Brief examples of how included genes may be grouped are shown below:

• DNA damage sensors: ATM, ATR, PRKDC, PARP1
• Cell cycle regulation: CHEK1, CHEK2, CCNB1, CCNB2, CCNB3, CCND1, CCND2, CCND3, CCNE2, CDK2, CDK4, CDK6
• ATM signaling pathway: ABL1, BRCA1, CDC25A, CDKN1A, CHEK1, CHEK2, GADD45A, RAD51, RBBP8, TP53
• ATR signaling pathway: CDC25A, CDC25C, CDK2, CHEK1, CHEK2, HUS1, MDM2, RAD1, RAD17, RAD9A, TP53
• Apoptosis: ABL1, ATM, BAX, BRCA1, CASP3, CASP9, CDKN1A, CHEK2, PRKDC, RAD91, TP53

GeneQuery™ qPCR array kits are qPCR ready in a 96-well plate format, with each well containing one primer set that can specifically recognize and efficiently amplify a target genes cDNA. The carefully designed primers ensure that: (i) the optimal annealing temperature in qPCR analysis is 65°C (with 2 mM Mg2+, and no DMSO); (ii) the primer set recognizes all known transcript variants of target gene, unless otherwise indicated; and (iii) only one gene is amplified. Each primer set has been validated by qPCR with melt curve analysis, and gel electrophoresis.
